David has over 20 years of experience working in non-profit and pubic organizations. He has held leadership positions in local, regional, and statewide human service agencies.

As the former CSBG Director for the State of Vermont, he has worked in partnership with over 40 community-based organizations throughout the state on a variety of poverty-related issues.

As the former Executive Director of a Community Action Agency in Vermont, David brings a hands-on understanding of the day-to-day demands of leadership of a community-based organization, as well as the ability to think, plan, and act strategically.

David’s areas of expertise include: establishing and monitoring measurable outcomes; designing and implementing policies; as well as developing workable action plans for programs and agencies to ensure quality service delivery. He has a broad range of skills, including: organizational assessment; systems analysis; board development and training; fiscal oversight; and performance-based management.

David holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
